According to The Encyclopedia of Protestantism printed in 2004, approximately 100 million people use this approach to evangelism. Lifestyle Evangelism is when Christians show their faith to others by doing good works and leading a good lifestyle hoping that unbelievers will notice the difference and come to Christ on their own. The advantages of using this method is that as Christians our lives ought to be different from those who are not saved and live in the secular world. Jesus the Christ said in Matthew 5:13-14: “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”
